How accurate is it?▾
Most clean scoresheets read perfectly on the first try. When a move looks wrong, ChessSnap catches it right away and suggests fixes for you to pick from, and you approve each one with a single tap.
What notation languages do you support?▾
11 languages: English, German, Dutch, Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese, Czech, Slovak, Polish, and Turkish. Each player profile can have its own notation language. The trial includes 1 profile; lifetime access removes the limit.
Where is my data stored?▾
Your games are saved on your device by default. If you sign in, they also sync to our secure cloud so your library follows you to every device. Photos of your scoresheets are private. Only you can see them.
Is there an iOS app?▾
Not yet. The web app works great on iPhone Safari and you can add it to your home screen so it feels like a real app. A native iOS version is on the way.
Can I use ChessSnap offline?▾
You can review and edit games you've already scanned without an internet connection. Scanning a new scoresheet needs to be online.
